- Optimization of 4.2L engine for BS-5 emissions & fuel injection system finalization. Conduct experimentation for 2DE2 direct injection engine and IDI turbo engine. Assembly of prototype engines & Critical performance evaluation. Interface with technical consultants on need basis. Responsible for engine development & Optimization at Pithampur. Review tested parts & conduct failure investigation on component & Engine Level. Maintain focus on test bed utilization and efficiency monitoring. Must be familiar with upcoming emissions regulations, after treatment technology and EGR optimization.
- BE (Mechanical / Automobile) Experience : 3-7 Years Basic knowledge of engine performance testing, parameters to be monitored. Experience in common rail fuel injection system and after treatment system is desirable. Willing to be hands on with engine dynamometer, emission analysers, test equipment etc. Knowledge of equipment functioning for dynamometer, smoke meter, particulate analyser. Ability to interact with test agencies ARAI, FEV, ICAT, AVL etc.
